Prescription tracking
No prescription runs out unnoticed. No session goes unbilled.
The framework is strict: 15 sessions per medical prescription, an exchange with the physician to renew it, then a request for cost approval to the insurer's medical officer beyond 30 sessions. A session delivered without a valid prescription is never reimbursed.
Every prescription tracked
Pomo counts sessions per prescription and shows what remains — for every patient.
Alert before session 15
A reminder before the prescription runs out, with the renewal request ready to send to the prescribing physician.
Beyond 30 sessions
The cost-approval request for the insurer's medical officer is prepared from your data — ideally between sessions 25 and 30.
For psychologist-psychotherapists billing basic insurance on a physician's prescription.
January 2027
What changes on 1 January 2027
- A definitive national tariff structure for psychological psychotherapy was submitted on 18 December 2025, planned to take effect on 1 January 2027 (pending Federal Council approval).
- The tax point value is still being negotiated with the insurer groups.
- Until then, the provisional tariff applies (CHF 2.58 per minute in almost all cantons).
- The electronic invoice format changes too: the old XML 4.5 standard disappears on 30 June 2027.
- The invoices and templates you built for today's tariff will need to be redone.
Pomo is preparing for day one with a pilot group — and you can leave whenever you like, with all your data.
